DTI launches the Go Lokal! Concept Store - Creating Opportunities for MSME's


The Go Lokal! Concept Store at Department of  Trade and Industry (DTI) Building on 361 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave, Makati City opens its doors to the public. It gives buyers the opportunity to check out latest local products of more than 200 Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME). All of which undergo extensive product development assisted by the Design Center of the Philippines (DCP). Leading the team of  designers and product specialists of the DCP is multi-awarded and internationally acclaimed industrial designer, Stanley Ruiz.

Concept Store features more than 500 never-been-seen Philippine products crafted and manufactured by the country’s most creative MSMEs.  Preferably made of indigenous materials, one would find home décor, gifts, toys, food, fashion and accessories to health and wellness not found anywhere else, all of which are produced and designed exclusively for Go Lokal!

Go Lokal! Concept Store, conceptualized by DTI Sec. Ramon M. Lopez and initiated by the DTI in collaboration with selected retail partners is an excellent marketing avenue provided for free by the DTI and its retail partners for MSME incubation, marketing, and branding.

The Go Lokal! Concept store @ DTI is also doing its part in helping our brothers in the south by partnering with Bangon Marawi  which is showcasing a huge display of local products from the southern part of the Philippines.  Proceeds of the sale will go in part to displaced residents of Marawi City in Mindanao.
